Liaison is proud to have a distinguished Board of Directors with extensive management, technology, and international experience. Erik Floman, Chairman of the Board Senior Consultant, Eera Finland Oy Previously Chairman of Anilinker Oy, a European integration services provider that merged with Liaison in early 2008, Erik Floman brings extensive international experience in technology services and tested skills in global expansion to the Liaison board. Mr. Floman graduated from Hanken School of Economics in Helsinki. He has extensive management experience in the service and technology sector and is Senior Consultant at Eera Finland Oy, a leading Finnish management consultancy. John Balboni, Director CIO, International Paper John Balboni joined International Paper in 1988, as president of its Non-woven Fabrics Business, after having served in various financial, marketing and general management positions in the Kendall Company. Subsequently he has been responsible for International Paper's eBusiness and new business development efforts. John is senior vice president, Information Technology, and chief information officer for International Paper. Balboni is responsible for information technology worldwide, which includes all computer operations, systems development, voice and data communications and advanced information technology. Berndt Blomqvist, Director Managing Partner, Helmet Business Mentors Prior to joining Helmet Business Mentors Blomqvist was Business and Technical Computing Manager for Hewlett-Packard Northern Europe, and Country Sales Manager for Hewlett-Packard Ltd. Erin Galeno, Director IT Controller, Weyerhaeuser Erin Galeno joined Weyerhaeuser in 1986 and has held a variety of financial positions, including Director of Internal Audit. Her additional experience includes acting as the financial lead for the company's SAP implementation and financial analysis support to multiple business operations. Galeno is a licensed CPA, holds a B.A. in Accounting from the University of Puget Sound and attended Seattle University's Executive Leadership Program. Jukka Mäkinen, Director Managing Partner, Eqvitech Partners Jukka Mäkinen is one of the senior partners of Eqvitec Partners. He has 18 years of experience in line positions from various IT-companies such as IBM, Oracle and Siemens-Nixdorf. He also has two years of experience in staff positions at the IBM European headquarters. As Managing Director of Siemens-Nixdorf, Mäkinen was responsible for software product businesses, R3 consulting, hardware sales and maintenance operations. Under Mäkinen 's management the company turned around to become one of the most profitable operations in the group. John Simon, Director CEO, AfterBot John Simon joined afterBOT in 2002 as CEO after more than 23 years of experience in the retail industry, including 14 years with QRS Corporation where he was a Founder in 1988. While at QRS he developed, sold, implemented, and operated the leading data synchronization, electronic commerce, supply chain company ultimately supporting over 9,000 customers in the general merchandise, grocery/CPG, and consumer durables segments of the retail industry. Simon most recently served as QRS CEO from 1999 - 2001. Prior to the creation of QRS, Simon served in a variety of merchandising, store operations, and information services management positions with Carter Hawley Hale Stores, Inc., at the time a leading general merchandise retailer and subsequently acquired by Federated Department Stores, Inc. Simon received his A.B. degree in Economics from Harvard College and his M.B.A. with Distinction from the Harvard University Graduate School of Business Administration. Bob Renner, Director CEO, Liaison Technologies Bob Renner played a significant role in creating the Liaison concept, and served as one of six steering committee members who guided its development into an independent business enterprise. Prior to Liaison, Bob was most recently Director of Electronic Commerce for Georgia-Pacific Corp., one of the world's largest forest products companies. He also brings over 15 years of information technology experience from several industries to Liaison including work at the Walt Disney Company, McDonnell Douglas Aerospace, and Security Pacific National Bank (now Bank of America). Renner earned his Master of Business Administration degree from Emory University, a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from California State University (Fullerton), and an Associate's degree in Computer Science from Fullerton College (California).
