Company’s healthcare and life sciences division ends fiscal year with record sales, marking four consecutive years of growth
ATLANTA — Jan. 4, 2011 —
Liaison Technologies, a global provider of secure cloud-based integration and data management services and solutions, announced today the company’s healthcare and life sciences division posted another outstanding year and has now grown revenues by an average of 40% annually in each of the past four years, making it the largest pure-play data integration and management company within this market.
“The steady and significant sales growth we’ve experienced over the past four years is a clear indication that adoption of cloud-based integration and data harmonization technologies is increasing at a quick pace throughout the healthcare and life sciences industries,” said Bob Renner, CEO of Liaison Technologies. “With our continued sales momentum, solid financials and the additional recent strategic funding we’ve received to expand our data integration and harmonization offerings, Liaison is well positioned to take a leadership role in this emerging market in 2012, particularly among health systems and other healthcare providers.”
According to a recent study published by Accenture, almost one-third of healthcare organizations currently use some form of cloud computing and 73 percent plan to make greater use of cloud-based technologies in the future. Similar adoption rates were reported in a number of other industries, including manufacturing, retail and education.
“As the healthcare industry faces the challenge of handling an ever increasing volume of patient data, Liaison offers a proven platform for integrating data from disparate information sources and presenting it in a way that positively impacts the delivery of care,” said Gary Palgon, Liaison’s vice president of healthcare solutions. “By enabling providers to make sense of vast amounts of critical healthcare information, Liaison’s data integration and harmonization solutions promote greater care coordination and deliver the insight needed to improve health outcomes.”
