Naveen Sarabu to discuss leveraging the power of integration and analytics for population health management success
ATLANTA – September 30, 2014
Liaison Technologies, a global data management and integration company, will present at the 20th annual North Carolina Healthcare Information & Communication Alliance (NCHICA) Conference and Exhibition. NCHICA is a nonprofit consortium of over 300 organizations representing the many sectors of the healthcare industry. The alliance’s mission is to assist members in accelerating the transformation of the U.S. healthcare system through the effective use of information technology, informatics and analytics.
At the conference, Naveen Sarabu, Liaison director of product management, will speak with Robin Foust, CEO of MyCatalyst, on the topic of “Leveraging the Power of Integration & Analytics for Population Health Management Success.” The presentation will provide a case study to illustrate the importance of both data integration and analytics. The presentation will also demonstrate how silos of clinical care that produce a fragmented overview of patient health can be integrated to produce a cohesive, holistic overview of a patient or a population. As the healthcare industry moves to a more collaborative approach to managing the health of multiple and specific populations, the need for a robust repository comprised of clinical and claims data from sources within and outside the four walls of a health system becomes critical. Not only do the right integration and analytics solutions produce reports necessary to meet quality and financial reports mandated in today’s healthcare environment, they also provide thoughtful insight into operational and clinical challenges and opportunities.
Session objectives include:
- Discussing the importance of a robust repository that integrates and consolidates patient information from disparate sources.
- Describing a case study to demonstrate how a provider organization has successfully evolved from managing their covered population to other patient populations in their service area.
- Evaluating the needs of your own organization with respect to access to and analysis of healthcare data that provides actionable knowledge.
Held in Greensboro, NC, the NCHICA conference runs from October 5th through October 8th at the Grandover Resort.
