Over 300 people showed up on a Saturday to talk Product Management and Marketing in the boot camp format. Attendees started out pitching their sessions to be picked and added to the day’s agenda.
First up for me was Strategic vs Tactical Product Roadmaps lead by John Mansour of @proficientzppm. With 50 people in the room, we had about 60 opinions – great way to understand how others approach them and the challenges they run into across different industries.
Next up, Product Distribution Rhythm & Cadence with @KylePorter of SalesLoft. Giving away a free, online app which delivers value as well as enable Internet influencers to recommend your company are great ways to generate leads.
Hacking Customer Discovery was about how to create products that people want to buy (because the opposite stinks) lead by @DavidEckoff so of course a fun-filled, interactive session. The net, “get no early” and what goes forward is where the value is.
